About Burfields
Peter and Jackie Burfield opened their first antique shop in 1982 on the Isle of Wight and began to specialise in early oak and country pieces. Although period antiques remain their passion, Jackie has also built a rapport with some of the Island’s leading artists, creating a stylish mix of beautiful antiques from 17th century oak through to classic Georgian and later decorative pieces, together with contemporary fine art, studio pottery, sculpture, artisan jewellery, prints and art cards.
They opened their current shop in 2011 in the seaside town of Ventnor, where they have retained many loyal customers and are forever being joined by new clients.
